Crafts

These crafts are handmade in a supported learning environment, using upcycled materials when possible. Live Work Learn designs the crafting environment to help small groups of participants develop different skills. The instructions can be modified based on each individual’s abilities. This way, they are both set up to succeed and challenged to grow.

Crafting tools can be customized for individuals at different levels of ability. This allows everyone to participate and succeed in the projects. Some participants have utilized the Crafts module as part of a prevocational program.

We currently run Crafts programs at i7 Events in Rotterdam, hosting local adult program participants and local school groups. We also host occupational therapist-supported Lunch & Learn Crafts events at Mosaic Village in Cohoes.
